The Fund is under the safekeeping of the General Accountant, who keeps the necessary accounts, issues the receipts required and proceeds with the collection and disbursement of the relevant funds approved by the Committee, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Accounting and Financial Management and Financial Control of the Republic, as amended or replaced.
The accounts of the Fund are prepared the latest until the 30th April of the following financial year and are audited by the Auditor General.
The Committee sends a copy of the audited annual statement of account to the Minister of Finance, together with the relevant report by the Auditor General.
A copy of the annual statement of the Fund's accounts and the Auditor General's Report is submitted by the Minister of Finance to the House of Representatives and is published in the Official Journal of the Republic.
