The Fund is under the management and administration of the Management Committee of the Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Conservation Fund (“Committee”).
The Committee is composed of the following members:
(a) the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry or his/her representative, as the Chairman of the Committee;
(b) the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance or his/her representative;
(c) the Permanent Secretary of the Directorate General Growth or his representative;
(d) he Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment or his representative;;
(e) the Accountant General of the Republic of Cyprus or his/her representative; and
(f) representative of the Consumers, upon recommendation of legally established organizations or associations representing consumers
On the basis of the Operation of the Fund for Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Saving Law of 2022 (Law 108(I/2022) , the Committee has the authority and the duty to manage the funds which are deposited or entered into the Fund in order to pursue and achieve its purposes. The Committee operates under the general supervision of the Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry and in compliance with his respective instructions.
